I'm 54yoa and I still do a boxing workout. I haven't sparred in about 5 yrs., but I still enjoy the workout. I do a workout of rope skipping, shadowboxing, double end ball, speedbag, heavybag and, if I have a partner, hand mitts. I've got a three minute timer and do anywhere from 10-15 rounds. On off days I lift weights. I used to be real self conscious about being the oldest guy in the gym, but I have to say that boxing people respect dedication and effort and will never make fun of you. Hey, it's a lot better and more fun than walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes.
