Hoping he recovers promptly,and then hangs them up.He sustained damage last night equal to that of 4 or 5 fights,if not more.He wanted so intently to assert himself inside,never stopped trying, but Darchinyan just stopped him cold in his tracks with bombs.......Arce has the same material in his chin as he has in his jock,steel.

I'll second that, mate. And I also remeber the Victor Bergoes (spelling) fight. Let's hope and pray for a full recovery for this valiant warior.

if arce could have kept his endurance up he could have possibly made the fight real close. He tried real hard to keep up the action but he looked exhausted.

Just seen this fight and really enjoyed it. It was the first time I've seen Arce properly and I was well impressed.

Hope he's ok. That was a great fight to watch. Arce really needed saving as he was not going to give in and even after the fight was saying he thought he still had a punchers chance in the last round. It was a good stoppage and may have just saved him from a career ending blood clot or something, who knows but he sure is one tough guy.

I have always had great admiration for Arce, enjoyed his fights and the excitement he brings to the ring, never a dull moment with Jorge Arce.
Darchinyan is one of the hardest punchers the Flyweight division has ever seen and he has a paralyzing effect on his opponents, Arce felt it in the first round and was overheard to say at the end of round one "he's a bad dude'
How Arce stayed up on his feet and at times remained competitive is a testament to his courage and commitment to the sport he loves. I hope he is ok and i look forward to him fighting again, maybe not against Vic next time.

I thought he seemed fine after the fight, maybe it was that ear shot, he claimed he caught an elbow to the head. It was a kind of dirty fight, but Arce was suspect too. They both kind of mauled each other inside.

I respect Arce's heart and toughness, but he must work on his defense... Throwing wild hooks that made Vic catch those openings that caused him serious beating... There's no poise on Arce on that fight... I hope Arce will recover and bounce back...
