Hope he's ok. That was a great fight to watch. Arce really needed saving as he was not going to give in and even after the fight was saying he thought he still had a punchers chance in the last round. It was a good stoppage and may have just saved him from a career ending blood clot or something, who knows but he sure is one tough guy.

I have always had great admiration for Arce, enjoyed his fights and the excitement he brings to the ring, never a dull moment with Jorge Arce.
Darchinyan is one of the hardest punchers the Flyweight division has ever seen and he has a paralyzing effect on his opponents, Arce felt it in the first round and was overheard to say at the end of round one "he's a bad dude'
How Arce stayed up on his feet and at times remained competitive is a testament to his courage and commitment to the sport he loves. I hope he is ok and i look forward to him fighting again, maybe not against Vic next time.

I thought he seemed fine after the fight, maybe it was that ear shot, he claimed he caught an elbow to the head. It was a kind of dirty fight, but Arce was suspect too. They both kind of mauled each other inside.

Arce took a lot of very hard shots. There is damage, no question about it. It is part and parcel to getting your brain slammed into your cranum repeatedly. Hopefully it is nothing overly serious, and more precautionary.

Hope he's ok. To echo everyone elses comments, he's super tough. However he had a terrible game plan and even basic tactics for fighting a southpaw?

Maybe he watched a lot of Rocky movies and wanted Vic to run out of gas from beating on him. Fight wasn't even really competitive. Lunging wild punches, getting hit with every punch Vic threw. Bad tactical fight.

The commentators suggested that he has struggled with southpaws throughout his career, it showed.

Yeah as game as, but lost nearly every round, even no 4 may have been a draw . Wasnt even scoreing by then, just watching ,expecting an early night.
Stoppage was right, he couldnt win,was just taking more damage.
