according to you people being not able to ko ruiz are crap, I can't agree more, Holyfield has not been able to do so 3 times in a row. it tells you a lot hos holyfield is a journeyman.

Ruslan is a good fighter, he can punch and he has good boxing skill, being defeated less than 5 times in the amateur. but I agree that on TV is not anything special, it's just that he's a good boxer with good techniques...and very very difficult to box due to his southpaw style.

I won't say he's the top noth right now, but I cannot see Arreola, Sam peter and a lot of fighters to defeat him now....

    just my thoughts
    #1 No it wasn't a joke

#2 John Ruiz isn't known for taking dangerous fights, the fact he got in with Tua is still AMAZING to me. But other than Tua John Ruiz has NEVER set foot in the ring with a big time power puncher anywhere near their prime. Andrew Golota dropped Johnny 2 times and still lost a UD 114-111, 114-111, 113-112.....my point was not that John Ruiz was just a shit fighter my point is that he is a shit PROTECTED fighter just like all the other WBA trash.

#3 Evander Holyfield is 46 years old and a former cruiserweight at that. This division right now has NO title holder under 6'6 240 pounds...Evander Holyfield damn well better be considered just a journeyman right now!

#4 Ruslan is a decent fighter as an amateur he won like 82 of 85 fights he even beat Savon. The problem is Ruslan hasn't tested himself vs the best, the only thing right now that makes him better than David Haye is that he has experience as a heavyweight vs other decent (albeit protected) heavyweights. He is a southpaw but to tell you the truth I was more impressed with Sultan Ibragimov than Ruslan Chagaev....better handspeed, better ring generalship, and KO power.

Do you mean, that you think he is a good solid "interim regular champion in recess."

Oh Lyle here you go again with this shit about size. If Evander was in his pomp now he would no doubt be undisputed HW champ. Same goes for Tyson, Ali, Foreman,Holmes and plenty of other "GREAT" past champions who weren't 6'6 and 240 lbs. They would all obliterate the Klits in their primes and deep down you know it.

And what a suprise you are more impressed with Sultan than Ruslan because at the end of the day he made Wlad look ultra boring.
