At the end of the day Tam... it was just the judge's opinionI lost my most recent. Was speaking to one of the officials who is down our gym and he says they weren't scorring my body shots...

I went in after just over a year, would of been shorter but my dad was in a road accident which knocked things back a bit.
I had my first 2 unofficial (gym wars basically) fights after 4 months, (won both of them) then another unofficial 1 after about 7 months (lost that). Starting proper official ones in early september. So about a year really its taken.
Do judges score body shots? Because people keep saying in amateur its only head shots that are scored. But my trainer says anywhere in the whole target area (upper body, head, chest, stomach etc) scores.
but Adam what is the probabillity of the red corner winning all 12 fights on the night. there was a guy there who spars with Geard Ajetovic and trust me he is awsome....and he lost as well as he was clearly winning the fight....my trainner told me at the end of the 3rd that i won as well now i look propa shit now fought 2 lost 2Originally Posted by AdamGB

I once trained a guy who lost his first 4 fights as an amatuer and became World Champ I also trained a fighter who won his first 15 fights and won fuck all, dont worry.

I beat the first guy and got beat by the second. The thing that you have to remember when u have your first fight is, NO matter how tired you are just know that the guy you are fighting is just as tired and keep on punching.
