What did they do to him for that? I mean..the NHL guy, Avery, got purdy much taken out of hockey for calling his ex sloppy seconds. Now he was a dick all around...but...

John Hirschbeck was the umpire and after a called 3rd strike Alomar decided it would be the right time to say that Hirschbeck had been bitter ever since one son died of Addison-Schilder Disease and another had been diagnosed with the disease.

Roberto Alomar is a pice of shit and he deserves the worst.....his brother Sandy Alomar Jr. was a decent player and didn't seem to bother anyone to the point that Robbie did.

The only way I would hate Robbie more was if he was a Yankee

Hirshbeck himself has no hard feelings, they are friends now. If he can get over it you should be able to Lyle.

All that does is further my idea that MAYBE Robbie had some ROID RAGE and took it out on Hirschbeck and now that he's off roids as he is no longer in baseball perhaps they were able to make up.

It doesn't mean Robbie isn't scum it just means he has maybe grown to realize how much of an asshole he truly was

No more like, it was an opinion held by more then just Alomar. Even Hirshbeck said on Real Sports that he was bitter and he was taking it out on everyone, even starting fights from behind the plate and Alomar called him on it.

Now I don't think that is at all right of Alomar but when you are in the heat of the moment things slip.
