Looking forward to this one, Taylor has more class but Froch will be on him all night, 50/50 fight for me with a slight leaning to Froch because of the hunger and will to walk through any thing that Taylor brings.

Taylor can't hurt Froch and he'll simply walk though JT's offerings and smash him to the floor![]()

Taylor beats Froch, UD. Probably 116-112 or 115-113. Taylor's handspeed advantage will be the difference. Froch talks way too much trash. Someone needs to shut him up.![]()

unless taylor is able to engage froch in a complete war froch will take a comfortable decision and break america much earlier than calzaghe did.
As already said on here im not entirely sold on froch, but as always jermain taylor being american is rated to the hills when he really is no more than an ordinary fighter who struck it lucky against an old guy that was shot at that particular weight.
Froch to take a 117-111 decision

I like Froch. But he's getting took to school here. Unless he seriousley tightens up that defense.

Gotta go with Jermaine to rip Froch up on the outside. To much skill and class IMO.
I can see Froch getting a little to trigger happy and taking some big counters wich will wear him down for the later rounds. He's got a good chin so can't see a knockout but I see the fight starting off well for both boxers but Jermaine pulling away with his Boxing skills as it goes on.

Froch wont win if it goes to the judges.
Taylor has backyard home advantage plus is the "star" in the fight. Taylor's not a huge puncher but is far from a powderpuff. With Froch being so easy to hit, whether Taylor hurts him or not he will be landing plenty of eye catching bombs.
Froch best hope Taylor fades badly and swallows.

i dunno fenster..its been a good while since ive seen a dodgy decision stateside in a big fight.
Even if it isnt nevada led judging im still pretty confident with the attention the fight will draw whichever state its in will employ the very best people to score the fight fairly.
now had this of been kessler vs froch in germany......i would now be an extremely worried man for the "corba" as a WWF style screwjob would definitely be in the works![]()

It doesn't have to be dodgy/corrupt judging.
Taylor will have the crowd support. The crowd will be whooping/cheering/gasping everytime a bomb lands - hence influencing the judges.
Plus Froch is a nobody in America. Taylor got tight decision over Hopkins, Winky, Spinks.. no way Froch gets it on the cards.

I like Froch but I only see a UD for Taylor here unfortunately. Or maybe if he leaves himself as open as he did vs Pascal maybe a KO for Jermain. Hope I'm wrong though!

Are you comparing Froch to Calzaghe? Froch is no Calzaghe and Taylor is no Lacy.
When has Froch shown he adjusts and outsmarts opponents? What are you going on here? It sounds like you see a lot of potential in Froch, what is it about him that he does on an elite level?
Kudos to Froch, however, for taking the fight and coming to the states to do it.
Good Post. I agree.
Pavlik has a chin and Taylor put him on the canvas and I would argue Froch is easier to hit than Pavlik because Froch lets his left hand hang low.
Taylor has a tendancy to fade down the stretch. To win, Froch has to steal a few of the opening rounds so as to not let Taylor build an insurmountable lead and then capitalize on Taylor tiring toward the end of the fight.
At a certain point earlier in his career, I feel Taylor lacked the desire and dedication to be a champ, but it appears the proverbial fire is lit once more.

Well Froch has still alot to do to prove he is anywhere near Taylors level, sneaking a decision against a fellow unproven prospect doesnt give me much confidence, but saying that Taylor hasnt been doing the business either in the last couple of years, hard one to call if im honest.
I'll go with Taylor by comfortable decison.
