He lost to Kessler, Ottke and Siaca, no shame there, apart from Siaca and the ko to Ottke, which rules him out of world class.

The reason everyone says the same things about Mundine is because everyone thinks the same things about Mundine, hes shiit, hes a joke, he wont take any decent fights, hes been offered a Kessler rematch, seeing as thats the best effort hes put in, even though losing and Kessler is the biggest name in the super middles, youd think hed give it another bash.

Since the Danny Green fight hes how many world class super middles has he beaten in 9 fights? None!!

He did ko Soliman, an ex light middle whod never fought at super middle before and then he rematched him

Mundine has nobody to blame but himself for all the vitriol coming his way. He lost to Ottke in only his 11th pro fight so i will cut him some slack for that one and it was 8 years ago. My beef with Mundine is he genuinely has talent and apart from the average Manny Siaca has only really lost to Mikkel Kessler, no shame there especially as Mundine did very well against the big K man, i had it 116-112. Why at his advanicng age he continues to fight has beens and low ranked fighters is a mystery to me. IMO he has this year only to make a mark in World Boxing, he needs to get in there with either Sturm or Abraham or simply give it away. Fighting Danny Green at 175 lb will improve his bank balance but that's all it will do. He needs to fight 3 more times this year and at least one of these fights needs to be against a legitimate champion.

I treat Mundine like I do Darchinyan. Just don't pay ANY attention to what they say. Just watch the fight and decide for yourself. From memory loads of people on here used to say the say the same things about Darchinyan as they are saying in this thread about Mundine because of the things Darchinyan would say. When he lost to Donaire this obviously spiked. Since then most have good things to say about Darchinyan. His performances have been better than Mundines though but to me I pay more attention to what i see than what I hear. With Mundine it is a great athlete who has great boxing skill who doesnt always perfom to his best. With Darchinyan it is great power, stamina and an awkward style. Both fighters i'm happy to support and watch fight but not listen to their schizophrenic rantings.
