I've just asked who won in the UK thread based on the fight.Quality new that Woods won.Its a real shame it was'nt boardcasted live on t.v though.I really wanted to watch Woods make his long awaited return!

Well if he gets the title fight i do hope he gives it everything this time. I really dont know what happened against Tarver, that wasnt the usual Woods we all know.

I dont quite understand how somebody doesnt turn up to the oppertunity of thier career and fight their hearts out. Especially from somebody as whole hearted as Clinton.

I dont think hed have enough to beat Dawson but he should atleast make sure hes in the perfect frame of mind and give it everything. He was gutted with himself last time, it wasnt the defeat it was the performance.

The fight was in Jersey, thats the island next door to where I live in Guernsey, apparently Hobson lives there.

The fight was in their leisure centre thats falling apart and can only seat 900 people, the fighters must have got paid an absolute pittance!!

Im glad Woods has done well here though, I really expected him to batter Tarver but hopefully what he said about being ill leading up to that match is true, although id still see him having trouble with Dawsons speed, I think he could deffinitly make him fight.

Ok, it took Woods 3 gos but he got a clearer win over Johnson than Dawson did

In fact it wasnt 900, it was only 600!!

Whith no TV money and paying the fighters out of ticket sales but haviing to pay about £5000 for the rent of the hall, how much dyou reckon the tickets would have been worth?

If Clintons any good at plastering, hed make as much or more doing that

It's plain to see now that Clinton froze against Tarver rather than him being shot, shame really because that was a winnable fight with Clinton at 100%.

I think Clinton is getting on now and should look for a big fight/payday before he calls it quits.
