"least crowd pleasing style in history"? Hyperbole much? I guess you've never sat through the torture that is a John Ruiz fight? Shannon "Asthmatic" Briggs, anyone? I'll grant that Wlad's technical style is not the most exciting out there, but compared to a lot of the current crop of heavys he's practically Arturro Gatti. At least Wlad usually knocks his opponents out after softening them up with his jab.
But I thought all the Haye nuthuggers told us Wlad was running scared? Now it turns out Haye and his team are making insane, unrealistic economic demands even though Wlad already agreed to do the fight on Haye's home turf? Say it ain't so!![]()

Least Crowd Pleasing style?? Have you watched any of Wlad's fights
? So Lennox Lewis sucked as well because Wlad and Lewis have a very similar style....Wlad is top ten in knockout percentage of active fighters.....You must be one of those people that enjoyed when Ruiz and Byrd were champions.....

Rafael's does come off as one sided, only interviewing the Klitchko side, disparaging Haye and calling Wlad a true champion.
Rafael provides some good info some times, he's also an embarrassment at times, most notably giving his opinion on fights he never saw.
Most boring of all time, I don't know, he's a big fan of the hand touch, either way he's certainly not all that concerned with being crowd pleasing.

The Ibragimov fight was certainly boring, but that was hardly Wlad's fault as Ibragimov was in survival mode from the start, circling the ring and refusing to engage. If one guy simply refuses to put up a fight, there's not much you can do other than give the other guy his only chance by going in recklessly. I did not think the Thompson fight was all that bad, not all-time classic by any means, but it certainly was not a stinker, and Wlad ended it with a crushing knockout. To say that Wlad is the most boring heavyweight of all-time is just plain silly. Have you ever seen John Ruiz, Chris Byrd, or Shannon Briggs fight? C'mon now, that was just a silly statement.

You can make the fight engaging by engaging the other guy in a fight. Despite being about a foot taller with massive reach advantage (it looked like a middleweight fighting a heavyweight) Klitschko did nothing but jab his way to one of the most boring victories ever. And that's all he ever does in any fight. Occasionally he throws a couple of punches and then holds but every time he fights he sends everybody to sleep. The sooner that fraud retires from boxing the better.
Kirkland you are just plain and simple a hater. You have no respect for anything he does much less the skill it takes to do what he does. Wladimir is a smart fighter as was Lennox Lewis....and I can remember Lennox getting the same crap because he wasn't Mike Tyson.
David Haye is not only an unproven heavyweight, he's a dumb fighter and because he's a dumb fighter he will lose early and often in his tenure as a heavyweight fighter. David Haye's name will be chalked up somewhere between the chinny Frank Bruno and the hype machine Audley Harrison and that's if Haye is lucky and not exposed as a total fraud in his first big time fight.
There are obviously reasons that Haye will not sign to fight Wladimir. Haye has begged Wladimir for the shot and Wlad wanted to be a good guy and give Haye a shot and any smart fighter or anyone who truly wanted the fight would have signed no matter what BUT the fight hasn't been signed and of course it isn't due to Wladimir simply because when the guy with the belts comes to the table he holds the cards.

Yeah, I should have written the guy recognised as the heavyweight champ rather than heavyweight. There can't have ever been anyone recognised as the man at heavyweight who was more boring to watch than Junior. John Ruiz was rubbish too but nobody ever considered him to be the man at heavyweight. For casual boxing fans and the wider public having a guy like Junior as champ turns them all off watching heavyweight boxing. The only way Vlad ever pleases a crowd is when he retires.
