Hatton will beat Pac, he will use his new found boxing skills that he forgot he had, and slowly break Manny Pac down and stop him late in the fight. Hard fight but easy victory for Hatton.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

When was the last time Hatton fought a lightning fast southpaw that moves a lot and throw punches in many angles?
If Hatton fails to KO Pac in 3 rounds, then it'd be a long excruciating night for him.

Barrera I, Erik Morales II..no way a 'shot' fighter would last a war that long. Barrera was the king then. and I don't think Erik was shot..he looked sharp early and was leading in the cards. but it's no secret that he is starting to have his troubles making 130. he fought at 135 before that and he look flabby and slow. thus, it meant he still belongs at 130 by then. You only say a fighter is shot when his chin starts to fail him. His skills have been missing significantly. On the 3rd fight with Pac,,this I can say he is shot. But...wheew. He showed up a bit against Diaz. sadly he got robbed. I miss the guy fighting. was never in a boring fight.![]()
An empty can is always noisy.

I think Manny will win. Hatton is more natural at the weight, but he gets hit way too much. He's like a modern day Tony Sibson. Great body punching and aggression, but porous defense. I think Manny will stop him on cuts. Also, Hatton beat a faded Kostya Tszu and Castillo. Malligani had no power to hurt Hatton. Manny is not faded and has tremendous power. Hatton should take his payday and retire after this fight.

Welcome aboard. And I agree.
I will just base this fight on their last 2 performances. I think Hatton do get a lot, and if Mallinaggi damaged his face in 1st round, Pac will inflict 10 times more.
The deteriorating Hatton will go down from accumulation from Pac's punches.

Ricky Hatton ain't no David "Stand still and hit me" Diaz or washed up Oscar De La Hoya. It's ok saying Pac is fast, but will he hit Hatton all night long ? No way, Hatton has a a good defense. Especially with Mayweather Sr working with him.
He's the best you can get. Hatton's footwork is underrated. Paulie Malignaggi was a slick, fast fighter, yet he crumbled due to Hatton's relentless pressure. If Pac or his fans think this will be easy, they are going to be in for a rude awakening. Pac hasn't fought at 140. Ricky has fought there his whole career. Ricky can box and brawl. His jab is a thing of beauty, he picked Malignaggi off with it all night long.
If anybodys getting "Destroyed" it certainly isn't Ricky Hatton. I can tell you that right now.
Hatton supporters are heavily relying on Hatton to land that vaunted left hook to the body like what he did to Jose Luis Castillo... but look at how PAC beat to the punch those boxers attempting to land that left hook to the body...
..........................
..........
Hatton supporters (or Team Hatton itself) must be very worried about this... I think Hatton will be in for the worst beating in his life...
BTW, to threadstarter, I like your originality...and it's more fun if there's should have been a poll accompanying your question...

Yes he has. His losses come from KO/TKO, look how he ended up in both fights vs JMM (both being questionable decisions), his clear lose vs EM, etc.I think Pac Man hasnt recieved much of a beating throughout his career
I remember something different. When he fought JMM 2, he got hit in the body a couple of times but it was specially on round 8 or 9 where he clearly looked hurt and tired.the last time ive seen pac being punched in the body pac just went berserk and kod the opponent

Pac is exciting, no doubt. But as you pointed out, Pac does lose rounds and you can make a good case for Marquez in both their fights and of course Morales showed how it could be done and actually get the nod.
People are reading WAAAAYYYY too much into Pac against Oscar and forgetting how Marquez did against him a year ago and also how Barrera too was able to take rounds whenever he decided to actually throw something.
