This post was a little similar to the last one. Why the need to keep starting threads on the same topic? Who are you trying to convert here? This is no church.

Hatton can only win out of "pure luck", and then you tell us to "accept the facts". You are as entitled to your opinion as the next guy, but to pass off a lot of that hyperbole as fact is a little much. Pac is a very talented fighter, no doubt about it, and he did fantastically well against a lot of the big name smaller men. But there are a lot of unknowns here and Hatton has only really struggled when stepping out of his own weight class. Don't be so quick to write Hatton off.

And who cares about number of fights here? Or the size of the wrist? Most fans probably so know these "interesting facts" as Peter Cook would probably have called them and they aren't terribly relevant nor interesting.

    And dare I say it.....YAWN....
mate, I'm not trying to convert anyone hear just stating a fact that its clear as the sky that manny is not the underdog hear. That's all. It's just the betting odds on how strong hatton's chances of winning. And regarding "interesting facts" if your a real fan of boxing, remember the old saying its a 'sweet science.' There you go, when you analyze a fighter you go about it by all the facts that are important and analyzing it and predict the outcome of the fight. You can't love the sport if you don't know how to breakdown a fighter. Peace.

I don't think anybody was suggesting that Manny was the underdog. Quite the opposite in fact. Which is why I thought it was an unsual thread. It's Manny who is favourite to win this fight.

Manny is the obvious favorite, he just beat a bigger guy than Hatton, and he's the #1 p4p, could arguably beat anyone not only at 140, but at 147 as well. I don't see Shane or Cotto being able to deal with him, I think Pacquiao is too good at what he does now.

Pac is firm favourite, hense the odds with the bookmakers, and these odds are determined by where the money is going.

I personally start Pac a slight favourite something like 8/13 in my book. But look at Mosley and many more he was a big underdog.

Miles is right here dude. Your thread asks the question and then in your first post you've enforced the answer suggesting an opposing opinion would be just plain wrong. All this is, is opinion and doesn't lay out the fact that Pac has never fought at this high in weight against a man never before beaten at 140. On paper, you could argue this is 50-50.

I should point out though, that I'm a huge Ricky Hatton fan, but I don't see him winning this one. Better facts to produce would have been for you to suggest that Hatton has had difficulty against southpaw fighters, and fighters who specialise in speed. I think Pac wins, probably over 12 but I wouldn't be shocked by a stoppage.
