I've been waterboarded, most terrifying experience of my life, more frightening than being stabbed. But HEY, it ain't torture apparently![]()
Nah, ain't pulling an ICB lol & ain't a former terror suspect either.
I made a short documentary about the use of torture by the Bush administration, & chose to do it by putting myself through 3 days of torture that those in Guantanamo Bay & in the secret detention program, & that involved obviously waterboarding.
If either you guys are interested in seeing it, I will PM you the link, although I'd rather not put it up so it gets torn down as 'lefty propaganda' by some people
But, yeah even as an exercise it does give you some psychological trauma. In the first few months after I did it I used to feel really uncomfortable when it rained & would have nightmares about it & that was just from like 20 seconds of it.
I saw the vid and there is NO WAY I will ever volunteer to have that done to me. You think before you see it that you could take it. Maybe devise ways in your head to beat it. But no, I think I would freak out and wind up hurting myself.
Oops
sure, i'll watch a video of you voluntarily be tortured! haha..
that's crazy, man.
to be honest, the only appeal that it has in the sense of "i want to try it out" is that you won't die (from a few seconds of it) and it's easy to perform in a short amount of time.
So deceiving.
I'm totally against the CIA waterboarding suspected terrorists. Instead, they should just stone them or chop their heads off the way they do to Christians all over the world.
