Didn't pacman start 2008 at 130lbs to fight marquez, and on december 8 jumping to 147, so even if you tell me he was weight drained which delahoya clearly said on 24/7 his in his best form of his life. Everything was 'even' come fight night. Manny is no welter, but he beat a legit welter even if his weight drained. Manny went up 17 lbs. even if you think delahoya was a slim guy was still the bigger guy so if you based it on handicaps Dlh vs Pacman was about even that night. Who won that fight was the better guy period. peace =) And pac struggling at lower weights, didn't you notice pacs evolution, his getting better, hasn't peacked yet. Hence, pac struggled with morales on there first fight factor in pacs cut in the eye almost knocking morales down on the 12. Then beating him up on the 2nd and 3rd fight shows his evolution. About marquez which pac floored 3 times on the first fight to get a draw and then after four years got knocked dwn again on the 3rd round and almost goes down on the 10th, but it was close but what larry merchant said thast night marquez brothers always seem to come out short against the better fighhters. That said marquez is no pushover that's why his rated 2nd pound for pound now that calzahe is away. See my point just admit the facts mate. Hatton is an underdog but for every fighter, they all have a chance of winning but slimmer though. Yawn lol
I didn't actually agree with you there btw. I was just trying to show how your completely one sided job isn't a reflection of reality, except inside your head.

If you believe what DLH says on a 24/7 then that is automatic proof that your opinion is worthless. You are one seriously gullible mutt. And you should learn the art of the paragraph. Your writing style insults my eyes.

    Yawn!
Mate don't you understand simple english?? I said even if you tell me he was weight drained or better yet oscar saying his in his best form but he really was 'not'. They both where coming in the ring handicapped. Pac coming up 17 lbs and Dlh coming dwn to 147. So both fighters met halfway. 'Even steven' comprende?? Don't think you would understand, but at least i tried to squeeze some more intellect in that brain of yours. Cheers!!
I'm sorry, but if you told one guy to gain 17 lbs if he felt like it, and told another guy to lose 17 lbs, that does not make it an even fight.

That's the worst logic I have even heard.

Now that makes me laugh. Your last post offered me little beyond the most futile of insults. Now, 'mate' as you ever so eloquently put it, you have Pac stepping in against Hatton who always fights at 140. And you pitch Pac in there at 140. Much more even isn't it? There are no excuses are there?
So I guess you want more of the truth. Who's the natural bigger guy really?? Here, knowing that staying in a division longer gives you an advantage in natural size Hatton should have the advantage, but as Larry Merchant put if their is one guy who can move up in weight like henry armstrong did its pacman. The guy is unique. His an exemption to the rule. His the only guy who can pull it.

Fact, which I don't think you know. Pac has been sparring with welter weights and middle weights for quite sometime now. Over 3 years now. Fact his last weigh in before a fight was 142lbs, while hatton's last was 140.

Fact, power generates from the legs going up to the torso the arms then to the fist so bigger stronger legs is a plus. Guess who has bigger calf muscle? again its manny.

Fact, in finding a puncher a trainer checks the size of the wrist. Guess who has the bigger wrist? again its Manny.

Reach, neck, chest still its manny's bigger mate.

Other parts of the body its even aside from hatton's 1" height advantage which i''m sure you would think is huge =)

Fact, manny has been known to be a puncher from the start of his career. Climbing in weight lessened his impact but you would be a hair brain to think he doesn't pack a wallop @ 140. All said their pretty even in strength, Are you familiar with the equation speed x power= velocity, So lets say for argument sake hatton is naturally stronger. But with manny speed and enough power it creates the same power output as Hatton coz of the velocity of punch that generates on it.

I believe its already a fact that Pacman is faster than Hatton, might be new news for you lol.

Simple really having a truck (hatton) hit the wall @ 40mph(speed of hatton) is equal to the velocity of a car (pacman) @ 120mph (speed of pacman). Their you go so scientificly broken down. Their both even becuase even if Hatton is naturally bigger pac has more speed. So hitting the wall would be just the same force. Cheers!!

Roach btw said, at this point of his career manny is a natural 140 pounder. You know why? as you grow old as every one does you get heavier.

Mate its not like pacman was used to that weight '147' He jumped 17 lbs that is a feat in in itself. That's Henry armstrong category bro. Manny started @ 112 and fought dlh @ 147 Knowing that fighting Dlh at 147 still not an even match even 'if' he was weight drained. Fact Hatton even said Dlh looked good in the scales the day before the fight making the betting odds for Dlh. You see its just how manny dismantled Dlh. If it was lesser fighter, Dlh would have survived like how he did with steve forbes. Larry Merchant even mentioned its not the age but the style that did it for Oscar. Manny was simply the better man. Even in sentana sports, Hatton said 'brilliant' so many times. Manny was just that good on that night. The commentator said every fighter preps up for a fight. A weight drained fighter means he has to shell out a lot of pounds of the day of the weigh-in. That wasn't the case for oscar he was floating around 145 lbs during training as seen on 24/7. So he didn't have to lose weight during the weight-in. He was really slim from eating kangaroo meat. There you go.

You totally and utterly underwhelm me and bore me. You may as well be a scientologist. Please do not call me mate, either. I don't like you. You are not my mate. And your useless facts are useless, you don't know anything about boxing.

I'm not sure if anyone else posted this but Paulie fought Cotto with one hand to much better success than he had against Hatton, he landed easier, he hit less, he actually dominated the fight and didn't let Paulie turn it into a clinchfest like he did against Cotto, the reason Hatton was able to do this was because of his terrific footspeed, he could get back out in situations where Cotto couldn't, that is why IMO he was a bigger challenge for Mayweather potentially, and maybe for Pacquiao.

Well, I don't even think you even tried boxing in your life. Don't think you even know the basics of being a fighter. Grow a testicle?? Geez, are we in 3rd grade again lol.. If you enjoy boxing so much as any hobby you take, base it on facts on knowledge of whatever hobby that you might part take. Boxing is called 'sweet science' I believe its only now you knew about this? At least its the first step in becoming more knowledgable of the sport you like. Boxing for all the violence has a science to it.

I like Hatton as a fighter just that fighting manny his really an underdog going into this fight. Nothing bad about that. Manny was an underdog so many times in his career, but he rose to the challenge and beat the odds. If you like your boy so much pray that he beats the odds I guess hehe..

But Paulie's hands had wear and tear, so when it was hatton's turn to fight paulie it was nonexistent. Paulie's right hand was never there. Watch it again. His right hand rarely came out. Even if it did it wouldn't have hurt hatton. Powerless right hand. Watch it he was fighting with his left the whole time, not paulie's game or any fighter to come inand fight with one hand. But you can see he just couldn't use it, its injured for sure. He clearly knows he has no more right hand he was there for the money.

I think some people don't give Paulie half the credit he deserves, he is one tough guy. He took a ass whopping from Cotto but he made it through to the end, he even rocked Cotto 2 or 3 times... He took alot of solid punches from Ricky also which had him holding on for dear life but he still took them standing.

I honestly believe if Paulie had the power of others in the division he could easily be a top 10 p4p, he has the chin, the speed, the slickness, the defense, all he lacks is the power.

And a good healthy right fist I'm not discrediting Paulie as a fighter he used to be good. But fighting has taken it toll on his right hand. Its brittle and often broken, hence the one handed fighter that he is now. Left jabber fighter that's all he is now. He better retire soon.

Mate I meant to say that pac started @ 130lbs early 2008 and he was previously fighting @126lbs in 2007 just to note. Went up north to 147lbs on december 8 2008 to fight Delahoya. So that's actually 17 pounds considering He started that year campaigning at 130lbs at the start of the year. Heard about Henry Armstrong? Thats what Pac Did, Fighting 3 divisions in 1 year, hence the 17 lbs

And just to add in 2007 he was fighting @ featherweight which was 126lbs. So you see, Pacman jumped so high to reach delahoya @ 147. Still think Delahoya is the handicap of the two? Cheers!

He better retire soon.
after all that bullshit you just been on about, can i ask whats ur prediction for the foght
My predictions, both have a shot of winning it. But as I have said, Hatton is the underdog hear.If Hatton wins it would have to be a phone booth exchange, but I don't see that happening coz of pacmans footwork. Its going to be Pacman coming in and out throwing bombs all night long. It's a tko on the 9th
