Russia is indeed the obvious one. OK, to summarize, out of 15 current countries that were part of the U.S.S.R., we have 5.

Russia, Estonia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Georgia.

p.s. I understand how tough this is. Myself I forgot that Georgia had been picked and had to look through the posts.

Kamchatka is an island that is part of Alaska. Incidentally, the US tested an underground nuke there in the late sixties which I remember because of all the protests that the older kiddies organized at our school.

I'm pretty sure Yakutsk is part of Russia.
