Text messaging should be banned. Or phones should have a spelling/punctuation checker built in that doesn't correct mistakes but charges 10p every time somebody makes one. Britain's English teachers have failed miserably, this is the only way to preseve the language. God knows what the written word will look like twenty years from now.

That is the problem with youngsters nowadays, too lazy to use the spell check.

We aint all as bad! I'm 17 years old and I maintain a (I'd like to think so) good presentation with my grammar.

I think it's just a habit now people have picked up with things such as text messaging and MSN.. I wasn't any better one time, then I realised how much more sense I get across if I type properly.
