....Actually maybe Toledo SHOULD fight the Diaz/Marquez winner instead of Khan!! He comes to fight, he's got a chin and he doesn't fold like a stack of penny's when the wind changes direction!
Toledo though did what Khan should have & made sure he protected his head from Prescott's shots in the early round, always making sure he didn't get caught clean. If Toledo had fought how he did against Lamont Peterson against Prescott he would have been gone in a minute or so aswell. Khan's chin is pretty terrible, although I think the way his body was structured prior to joining up with Roach was terrible. He basically had no support because his legs were too weak & that was one of the first things the guys at Wild Card got sorted. He still has a pretty weak chin, but personally I'm not sure its quite as bad as people are making out.
I actually think that Amir has a great chance of beating Barrera. He'll probably use his legs and jab Marco's head off for 12 rounds (theres a 4-5 inch height difference isn't there?) but can't see him doing the same when he comes up against Marquez's slick skills or Diaz's speed...
I wondered about the Prescott fight. I remember the pre-fight interview and it became evident to me that something was wrong. Even my dad looked at me and said 'something aint right there'... Kahn looked terrible.
I believe he was fasting so that could explain why his punch resistance was even worse than it normally is - which is pretty poor by anyone's standards.
There are so many variables that can deem whether a punch has knockout power so the fact that Prescott couldn't KO a guy who had previously been ko'd by supposed lesser punchers, doesn't mean that much to me.
he chose to box whilst fasting? That's just stupid and if true he deserved to get ko'd.
didn't that heavyweight prizefighter winner ((can't remember his name offhand)) just beat Harrison? now he would be a better fight for Haye IMO
