If nothing else Audley is well known in the UK. A early KO win for Haye would only add to his appeal and celebrity. Would make sense as a tune up fight if the Klit fights are gonna be a while yet. Would be a fight against a much taller man as well. Audley is better than Bonin and he fought Haye.

For Audley to be wanting to fight someone considered a dangerous puncher , I reckon hes maybe sparred with him and had the better of it.

Audley is probably also thinking he could jump the cue if he beat Haye because of Hayes self publicity, Haye has had 2 fights at heavy, both against medocre journeymen and because he has been ascociated with a Klitschko bout, naive people beleive him to be a top heavy, so Audley beating him would get him positive recognition and the instant high heavy ranking Haye has been gifted.

Audley has faced a bigger puncher in Williams and wan and he i southpaw with nice straight shots and uppercuts so does have a chance against Hayes open suspect chin but I reckon Haye would come out fast knowing that Audley would go straight in to gunshy mode.

didn't that heavyweight prizefighter winner ((can't remember his name offhand)) just beat Harrison? now he would be a better fight for Haye IMO

Harrison is deluded, and anyone thinks he has a chance is too. It's not that Haye is a proven Heavy or anything, it's just that I wouldn't bet on Harrison against anyone in the top 50. He simply doesn't have it as a pro and should let it go.

Does seem from the article that Haye has treated him shabbily over the years.

Just a few weeks back he was saying what great friends he is with Haye.

If this fight is made I will have a serious bet Audley doesn't leave the dressing room come fight time

Im sure these two are really good mates? Im sure ive seen Haye say he wouldnt fight Audley becasue of this, i mean maybe the friendship could be out on hold if Audely was undisputed Champion of the World, but fight him when he just got beat by a 10 fight taxi driver?

Audley please retire your in the wrong sport.

Id love to see this fight happen. Id love to see Harrison either beaten to a pulp or beaten bad enough to wake him up from his 6 year coma.

Surely Haye wont go anywhere near him, Harrison can claim all he wants that Haye owes him something but what promotion companies would want to try promote Harrison these days after his last 4 or 5 fights.

Haye needs to get the Vlad fight secured which i believe isnt dead yet or get a guy in the top 10 world rankings.

Anything less and we will hear all the same crap about him that weve been hearing for a while, hes got no chin, stamina, hes a blown up cruiser, Barrett knocked him out, and all that.

I think you lot are way off the mark here

I firmly believe that 2009 will be Audley's year and will see him finally land a world title and become the number one heavyweight in the world

If he doesnt get Wlad then why not fight Audley he would be a good test at 6ft 6inch he is a big heavy like Wlad and Vitali don't get me wrong he aint a world beater but he would be a decent test as a warm up.
