Well Lyle can I just educate you please? There was once a Cruiserweight (back in the days of 190lbs limit) called Evander Holyfield. He became UNDISPUTED Cruiserweight champ (like Haye did) and then moved upto Heavyweight (like Haye did). He then proceeded to make waves in the division (like Haye is doing) at a time when the division was in a better state than it is now.
Now in them days a genuine champ by the name of Mike Tyson was ruling the roost but decided to take on an easier option than Evander in the shape of James "Buster" Douglas (a limited fighter, kind of like Arreola and Tony Thompson but better). That's when disaster struck though. Tyson clearly underestimated Douglas and was KO'd in one of if not the biggest upset in the history of the sport.
Anyway next thing you know Holyfield gets his shot (as Haye himself one day will) and totally flattens Douglas (as Haye would to either Wlad or the next person to KO Wlad) and becomes Undisputed Heavyweight champ (something that Wlad will never be).
So people want to see this little CW take on the Bully Tyson but for various reasons the fight gets delayed a few years. Anyhow the fight finally happens and everyone (except me) is saying that Tyson is going to kill Holyfield and what happens? Holyfield KO's him
Unbelievable I know! Surely this was just a fluke so obviously Tyson had the rematch setup (just the one mind) and what happens? Well Evander is schooling Tyson again so Tyson fouls and is DQ'd.
There is quite a lot more to the story of this other "awesome cruiserweight" but now you know some basics I'll let you look it up for yourself.
Of course to compare Haye with Holyfield would be wrong. Totally different fighters, Haye has far more power than Evander ever had but Evander's chin is way ahead of Haye's so styles are different!
P.S. Lyle if you want anymore lessons I'll be more than happy to oblige!
