So some freelance nutter at a sports game shows the media is run by liberals while a bunch of fruit loops discussing overthrowing the government on a primetime show on America's most-watched news channel is irrelevant. I see.

What do you want me to say about Glenn Beck? I really don't care about the guy, I don't watch Fox News.....I watch The Simpsons on FOX but I don't watch Fox News at all....I couldn't even tell you what # channel it is. I do enjoy watching MSNBC though (channel 59 here) because the doe eyed adoration that people like Olberman and Chris Matthews have for Obama is comical....Kirkland, do you get a tingly feeling up your leg when Obama speaks?

A strong response would have been for the President to get off his ass and do something...diplomacy anyone Make a deal or make a move for fucks sake don't just sit back and tell Americans that wearing a fucking sweater and turning the thermostat down is going to help things out that was grossly negligent and incompotent on the part of Jimmy Carter

Oh excuse me I forgot that bureaucracy cures all ills and soon it will be doing exactly that with Universal Healthcare....I LOVE going to Court, I LOVE going to the Post Office, I LOVE going to the DMV, I LOVE going to the IRS, and soon thanks to Obama and co. I can get the same attitude while I am sick and in dire need of medical attention.

Obama has his question marks no doubt. I've been less than impressed with what he has said so far on Israel/Palestine for instance.

But in terms of dealing with the economy there is no doubt that change is neccessary and a big rethink is in order. Bush allowed this situation to slide by and didn't batter an eyelid. At least Obama is getting out there and attempting to rectify things. You had better hope Obama pulls you through 'coz things really don't look too peachy looking at America from afar. It's sink or swim time. God knows what another Republican administration would have led too. It doesn't bear thinking about.

How was Ike more liberal than Obama? Sure income taxes during his time were higher but other than that I don't think he did much that you can consider liberal.

Yeah I don't quite get that one, Ike at least considered himself a fiscal conservative and at that time Republicans were more about that, now they just spend and spend and spend and then are hypocritical enough to complain about it when they lose the Presidency. I just can't miss an opportunity to shit on them, nice fake tan Boehner.

But in what area was he more liberal? Foreign policy? I don't see how honestly. Domestic policy? He clearly was no proponent of civil rights.

Pushed civil rights,high top rate taxes,was against high military spending,numerous public works projects(they do call it the Eisenhower Highway System for a reason)compared to Obama he was practically a Commie
