Juan Diaz by decision... either UD, SD or hometown decision...

    - pressure, youth, pressure, stamina, pressure, punchrate, pressure, pressure, pressure

Baby Bull outpoints JM Marquez, just like how Chris John and PAC outpointed JMM...

I'm pickn Diaz over JMM UD in a fight that could go the distance or TKO late rounds.

Marquez for me. I really thought Diaz was gonna be a superstar but he looked a bit 1 dimensional to me against Campbell so i think Marquez will have just a bit too much for him in most departments. Points, close but clear.

Superb weekend of Boxing on both sides of the Atlantic. Adamek vs Banks and Munroe vs Martinez last night and tonight we have in the UK Thaxton and Tyson Fury fighting and that builds up nicely to the main fight of the weekend Marquez vs Diaz.

My money has gone on Marquez - It'll be close and I see it going the distance. Diaz is very good but I think even an ageing Marquez will have too much class.

I'll go with Diaz. Granted I'm a fan but I've got some other less BS reasons.

I wasn't as blown away by JMM as some last time out. I have been saying for a number of years that Casa was past his best, all the way back to the third Chico fight, actually before that, the Pearson fight, I think that's who it was. And I don't think he can do what Nate did, that's not his style and he's not as strong as Nate.

Not saying he can't win. I would be not shocked at all if he won, he should be the betting favorite.

Also he can be hit with the jab and Juan has a pretty good one.

I wont even bother with the hater posts who just went agains JMM just because of the whole Pac-JMM thing... Pretty stupid to predict a fight based on the rivalry of another fight.

As for the other comments, I have to say JMM will once again prove why he's one of the greatest of our times. He's not just some title holder he is THEE lineal champ you'll see.
What I'm curious to see are the excuses that will be said once he beat Diaz.

Diaz does have a good jab but it's not a stunning jab it's just a jab to keep the glove in your face, he does score with it but it's a bit slow and I think JMM will be able to slip it and counter it.

JMMs is gonna need to be smart and make sure he doesn't let Diaz win rounds on activity/output. If JMM can be smart which he is and pace himself correctly I think he's gonna bust up Diaz.

I have always like Diaz. Busy, Very skilled and workmanlike in there. I feel he just bit off more than he an chew with Marquez.

I will go out on a limb and predict a 10th round stoppage for JMM. I just cannot see Diaz having the arsenal to keep Marquez from doing what he wants to do. He will stay competitive for most of it, but Marquez hits harder, is accurate as hell and will wear him down and take it out of him.

very solid card.Wish they would ait the Daniel ears Jacobs fight.Really have him in with record padding tonight but hope he steps it up soon
I'm with you on the Jacobs stepping it up front! He looks real good in the few times I've seen him but now it's time to move up a notch.

Totally agree with you on him being the lineal champ Mick but i'm not as certain for the result tonight. I like both fighters and will be totally neutral tonight, but JMM is starting to get rather advanced in years now and surely he can't keep on producing young mens performances.

I've got money on JMM to win by decision but I wouldn't be massively shocked if it went the other way. Either way it's a fight I've been looking forward to for quite a while!

Three main reasons why JD will lose tonight:

    1. He will be outpointed and left WAY BEHIND on scorecards.

    2. He doesn't have the miracle hail mary 1-punch KO.

    3. JMM has never been KOed before, and well determined to get his 3rd fight with Pac.

    (feel free to add more...)

I think JMM will win by a pretty wide margin. DIfferent skill levels in my opinion.

I under estimated Diaz's boxing skills. I apologize to his fans.

But it looks like he's slowing down a bit right now and got wobbled. It aint over til the fat lady sings.

    What a fight!!!
