Hey guys, how many rounds in total should I be doing. I feel like I'm not training enough on my technique. How many rounds on average do you do. Like not on a specific exercise but in total. 10 3 minute rounds (typically what I do) seems short.

How the hell are people supposed to give you advice if you don't tell them how far along you are as a boxer.........what kind of fights you are preparing for, etc??

too ambiguous a question. We could tip tap about for a couple of hours or have you looking to puke in 20. Your choice?
I meant for skill practice. I dont want to be exhausted when I am refining my technique. I want to be fresh and efficient. If I am outta breath while practicing my jab something i definately wrong with either my conditioning or my technique. I am doing on average 10 rounds for skill practice. I am not as of yet competing though I found a good gym finally. Should I be doing more. Is that enough time to be really improving my technique? I should have been more specific but the question is kinda basic i think.
well again it depends how hard you are working. I assume you mean 10x3minutes yes? There isn't a hard and fast rule in my book. On the one hand I agree with the Bruce Lee's attitude that practicing 10 pefect jabs is better than 100 shitty ones. BUT you're not going to be throwing 10 jabs in a fight or in a round! - at least I hope not.
I would suggest work untill you notice or feel your form slipping, then you can either take a rest and come back to your drill and do another session or switch to work on conditioning.
Yup, 3 minute rounds
