I get this message when I log off. There is help available for free but ask me to load a file. I am very suspicious and was wondering if I should do it. Anyone else have any experience of it and should I do it.

Careful of the free downloads. They are often malware.

Make sure it is a reputable site and company, and even then it is often little more then spyware/malware they are asking you to DL.

stick to trendmicro.com or symantic or AVG.

this sounds like a dll error to me, nothing i'd be overly worried about, but you can run some free online scans at trend.

Don't click and download shit from sites you know nothing of. Them offering help usually = worse trouble.

I tried that link and it scanned the computer and said I had no malware. It asked if I want to buy the anti virus. My Norton one has run out should I buy this one rather than register for the Norton?

(These may be basic questions but really just got the computer a year ago, just for the Saddo site)

I don't like norton myself, but it will protect you. I just find it slows everything down too much.

Try this. Give it a trial run and if you want for free.

Download this and run it: Malwarebytes.org . It is an anti-malware program what will find junk and rootkits that anti-virus programs will not even detect.
