Sam McVey (sp) was a heavy handed puncher in Jack Johnson's day. Â Harder than Sam Langford. Â Very few of his fights went to decision, except with superior defensive fighers. Â These earlier guys and much different gloves and wraps that most modern day boxers would have difficulty adapting to. Â
