I seem to recall there was a connection between Hannibal and Spain, damned if I remember what it was though. Maybe he was born there, or trained, or educated.![]()

That's very good .....
The Carthaginians conquered most of Spain and built lots of new cities. Cartagena was one of them (meaning literally 'Carthage' in the local dialect)
The grand mind and power behind all this expansion was Hannibal's father, and the city was named after their family - Hannibal, Hamilcar and Hasdrubal's surname was Barca ...... hence Barcelona.
Nice to get a question that stumped everyone !!!!!!
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?

Ok,apparantly I threw up a stumper, believe it or not it was Bramwell WV,the whole reason the town exists is a bunch of coal barons decided to build their own town. At one point allmost every coal baron in America lived in Bramwell.

This famous palace/fortress in Spain, constructed in the 16th century, is recognized as one of the finest examples of Moorish (Early Islamic) architecture. Bonus points if you know the city.
