Im so f@ckin happy!! Maquez reigns supreme as one of the greatest Mexican fighters of all time, maybe the greatest!! Stopping two guys in a row who were said to have granite chins and had never peviously been stopped. JMM is finally where he should have been years ago.

Well maybe not granite, but he had never been stopped and faced some very dangerous puchers. He had proved he had a very good chin no question.

JMM is up there with Morales & Barrera now. Defenetly.
Is it me or has Marquez' power gone up?
Those titles are recognition that Marquez deserved.

He seems to have carried his power up well. I see him taking more risks than he used to, and he's managing to break his opponents down step by step.

JMM vs Casamayor was a great fight and was one of the first times in a long time I was concerned about Marquez's safety. Casamayor's headbutts, elbows, and overall notorious and mean street-fighting ways had me concerned, especially considering how often JMM gets cut up. Combining that with the fact Casamayor had never been down, I was pretty amped up that night.

When JMM KOed him he once again, as he has so many times, convinced me of his sheer greatness in the sport. His decisive win over Barrera and very close/controversial decisions vs Pacman were also very revealing looks at that same greatness. I'm convinced he still has more to show us, even at his age - can't wait for his next war!

What a fight indeed. Honestly I haven't seen anything of that caliber since Corrales vs Castillo. For once I actually agree with the commentator's. I also loved how he called out Mayweather in the post-fight interview, "Pscquiao dosen't want to fight me " that was great.
