So where's the link/facts/proof that Froch is "Yellow"..?
So where's the link/facts/proof that Froch is "Yellow"..?
That tells us nothing at all
OK i'll ask again...
Anyone have any links/quotes etc from Froch that state he doesn't want to fight and is "Yellow"..?
I don't like frochs chances in this fight i can just see him eating taylor's jab all night long and if his chin is'nt as good as it looks i think he will get put to sleep by taylors right hand. He has a punchers chance but i think his power is a bit overated and he doesnt put his punches together well when i've seen him so unless taylor is sloppy i can see carl taking a beating here.
It's called having an opinion......
I'm sure you know what that is right?
Here, just in case you forgot what the definition is.
opinion Spelled Pronunciation [uh-pin-yuhn] –noun
1. a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.
2. a personal view, attitude, or appraisal.
Isn't that what this forum is for? Posting our opinions.
Violent D just happens to have the opinion that Froch would be a coward if he pulled out of the agreement. Just as I'm sure that a lot people would have that opinion, if he pulls out of the fight, after shooting his mouth off so much.
So, just because you don't agree with his opinion, you have to come up with a lame line like, "show me a link"?
Do you post a link everytime you state your opinion?
Post was made too soon: Froch vs. Taylor - Contracts Signed, Fan Friendly Tickets - Boxing News
look at the price of those tickets, we get well ripped off in the UK. i would be over there in a shot if the £ wasnt so shite against the $
A brilliant quote from Mick Hennessysourced from Boxing: Carl Froch will face Jermain Taylor in first WBC super-middleweight title defence | Sport | guardian.co.uk
"This isn't a case of a young fighter on the way up taking advantage of a big name on the way out or two old timers cashing out with a big payday - this is a real fight," Froch's promoter Mick Hennessy said. "You've got two of the world's finest fighters, both at the peak of their powers and out to prove that they are amongst the world's best pound-for-pound fighters."
Seriously how can anyone take seriously that the winner becomes one of the best P4Pers in the world. I can just about see an argument for maybe Taylor getting into the top 30, but Froch seriously??!![]()
Who was the last American world champion who made the first defence of his title against a live opponent in a foeign country?
Answer: when the live opponent had a bigger reputation and brought more money to the table than the american world champion and the american world champion was untested and unheard of outside of his home base.
With that said, credit to Froch for taking a tough fight as his first defense. At that weight, Kessler surely didn't.
I'm really interested to know if any American has fought abroad for his first defence. Froch could just as easily stayed at home and made easy money filling out his 10000 seater arena in Nottingham but he isn't.
I don't like Froch at all but you've got to give him credit for doing this.
In this economic climate, could he really have filled a 10000 person arena fighting an irrelevant boxer? If Froch wins this fight, he gains a ton of notoriety, increased leverage in negotiations, and a broader fanbase. It was smart in either way really because if he loses to a former undisputed middleweight champion with a recognizable name, he still will gain notoriety and a fan base. If Taylor waxes him, well then, that's a different story.
I would agree that at least Froch is stepping up and fighting a tough fighter.......He has alot to gain if he wins...I just dont see him beating Taylor but you never know.......
Taylor has boxed a total of 55 rounds against 2 hall of famers and the current middlweight champion..
Froch went life and death with Jean Pascal
Taylor will comprehensivly outbox him
