There are now 2 boxing rankings orgs that ranked PAC as the man at 140 lbs., FightNews and Boxrec...

As early as December 2008 Boxrec already installed PAC as the no. 1 boxer at 140...

Pacman is the P4P king right now without a doubt. But to instill him as number 1 at 140 before hes got past Hatton is quite insulting to Ricky.

I hope they take him down a peg once Hattons smashed his ribcage in.

He's number 2 for me, until Ricky is beaten 140, he remains The Man at light-welter

    .. .. ..

FightNews and BoxRec ranking PAC as the no. 1 at 140 lbs. tells a lot about the upcoming PAC vs. Hatton fight...

Vegas oddsmakers are also in agreement with these rankings since they have PAC as a 2 to 1 favorite to smash Hatton...

Those who find these rankings insulting to Ricky, maybe you can write a protest letter to FightNews and BoxRec... There's a possibility that an error was made in these rankings...

    Just a suggestion tho...

More bad news for the lower ranked Hatton...

link --> Hatton clearly the underdog against Pacquiao

how is Pac higher than Hatton, in a weight division he's never fought at?, hell i guess Cotto should be considered the #1 154 pounder in the world just for kicks, and hell why not make B-Hop the #1 Cruiserweight in the world just for the hell of it and since he wants to fight Adamek, well B-Hop's the bigger name so he should most definately most definately be ranked higher than Adamek.....

Boxrec also has Manny ranked #5 P4P behind
    BHOP
    JMM
    VIC
    and BCD.

Anyway Mighty Mike is clearly the top fighter at 140, and Pac is avoiding him like the plague!
