That is my first time that i heard something like that about Barreras , that fight was one of my favorite fight , Barreras gave Hamed a really damn beat in that night , after that i never seen Hamed fighting again , about the question i don't think so .......Barreras is a great Warrior , but this a situation that now will put to all Trainers and Inspectors to check everything to their opponents ........................Barreras is a respectable boxer........![]()

No matter how dirty a fighter is, the opponent should be that much better that he can avoid those tactics, like Marquez getting hit while he was down, he should have avoided getting knocked down, or Manny getting hit on the break, he should have avoided holding.
At the end of the day, no fighter can really complain of any ilegal tactics because they should be man enough to deal out their own punishment or avoid those tactics anyway.
I do get annoyed with Holyfields use of the head but......a good boxer should be able to punch that head on the way in and deter him from trying it, the Tyson that fought Holmes would never have got butted by Holyfield.
If Hatton had not tried charging Floyd to the ropes he wouldnt have had Floyds foremarm in his throat, if Joe had boxed rather than tried to brawl with Bernard hed have boxed rings round him and not been groped and had his momentum choked.
If Castillo had thrown a shot while Corrales was on the deck, he may not have got up in time to fire back, anything for the win.
Every one is the master of their own destiny.

hell yea Barrera cheated against Hamed.............he wasn't supposed to throw punches at him, much less connect them, aaaaand he hit Naz way too hard. This is bullshit dude, sounds like something Cintron would write, especially after his now famous "nobody can hit that hard, it must of been a head butt"
