That what im thinking too, but JMM might go for bigger money at 140 if he can. Still, it could be a interesting reatch if Barrera looks good tommorow. Id still favor JMM reguardless.

If Barrera wins I swear I will punch holes in the roof I'll be jumping so high. I'd prefer him to retire after this if he wins. He has had too many wars and is too old to be fighting the elite guys anymore.
I think Barreras already beaten Marquez but it will be an interesting return . If Marquez does vacate and move up and dont think there can be much dispute that Barrera will be the number 1 lightweight . Its a matter of time until he is a 4 weight champion .

Ill be pulling for him. I dont see him retiring if he wins. Hell definately want Marquez. Though, it would be nice to see him retire champ.

If he wins, I'll definitely want to see a rematch with JMM.

I will rank MAB in the top 25 of Lightweights.
Beating Amir would not catapult him high IMO.

What do you mean "if" Barrera wins.
It should say when.
MAB is one of my all time favorites, and I think he will win. Everyone keeps mentioning Kahn's chin, but I think MAB will take him out with body shots. I think he's going to work the body alot to slow Kahn down, because Kahn is faster than MAB at this point in his career, and MAB has to take away Kahn's one big advantage.
BTW, Steve Kim wrote a good article on him today.
