Yeaa exellent result for Khan. Shame to see barrera go out like that. I just hope the khan camp dont get to exited and throw him in with JMM cos we what would be the outcome. Hes needs to slowsly progress and perfect that defence then maybe move up to world level.

I'm struggling with the result still, so find it hard to give Khan any credit. He did box well for 4 rounds and was winning the fight. But I cannot say that he beat Barrera because in my heart of hearts I don't think he did.

I'm pretty much the same, but what happened, happened. Amir Khan has a win over Marco Antonio Barrera on his record..........urrrgh

It doesn't bear thinking about really. Damn headbut in the first and blood pouring everywhere. Calzaghe against Lacy, now that was a great win. Hatton against Kostya, now that was a great win. Khan against Barrera.....get outta here!

It was a nasty forehead cut. Usually when Marco gets cut, it coagulate right away.

It was a horrible cut, worse than that Guerrero one IMO. Khan should thank his lucky stars the gods shone on him tonight, because he got all the breaks.

I thought Khan looked awesome. Great offensive prowess and improving defense. To be honest, I never expected much from Barrera tonight (you can check my predictions on that) and I hope he does retire from the fighting part of the game.

What impressed most was how Khan handled the pressure of this event. He was in with a big name opponent who many in the crowd wanted him to lose to in a make or break fight, but he stuck to his game and showed enormous confidence and style. He really put that loss to Prescott behind him.

Even though Barrera was not the old Barrera, Khan passed a major test tonight.

Oh please. You're just in denial. You'll get over it in couple of days.

I guess Khan is not "gay" at afterall.

Khan is just as gay as ever. What kind of man accepts that as a win on his record?? A big gay one!

He did what needed to be done, but it was a NC that got warped by homecooking.

I can't be sure, but I think miles may be drunk. If so, let this be a warning to all trees and apartment door numbers out there. You were warned.

Unfortunately it's 10:30 in the morning and I've been awake since 6am watching boxing. I wish I was drunk so I could bash you all on the head with a tree!

I stand by my statements. I might be repeating myself on different threads but the same issues keep arising. If the same thing happened to Khan my response would be the same, namely that it is inconclusive and deserving of a rematch. There is nothing difficult about that.
