I wanted to watch this fight, but couldn't find any link to it, but from what I've been hearing Abraham was weight drained. Not a good sign, and if he is weight drained he better go up to Super Middleweight. And Super Middleweight isn't a bad place to go because there is not much up there and Abraham should have no trouble being the king at that division.

Are you serious? SMW is a much more stacked division than MW, you've got Kessler, Bute, Jermain Taylor, Librado Andrade, all good exciting fighters. Plus most of those would be better money for Abraham than pretty much anything at MW, plus there's always other fights like Carl Froch who would be good money & could be done in Europe. Honestly you take away Pavlik, and otherwise 160 is dead, especially compared with the fights at 168.

Well, you have Kessler he is a beast. I'm skeptical about Bute, yea he has a good record and he has shown fantasic boxing skills, but he has just been up fighting in Canada where he is in his comfort zone. Andrade is good, but both of his big fights he has lost (of course he should have won against Bute, but that's a mute point now.) I'm still unsure of Taylor he's going to have something to prove against Froch who is a good boxer in his own right, but he has been fighting taxi cab drivers up in his comfort zone, like Bute.

I agree with that to a point, but my main question is what is there at Middleweight other than Pavlik? I don't see anyone worth the time. Kessler I agree is a beast, and I too am skeptical about Bute although his fantastic skills, he needs to have a rematch with Andrade. On him, whilst he clearly lost to Kessler, that was pre-Calzaghe, when Kessler looked one of the toughest fighters about, and he took so many shots yet still didn't go down. I also felt he beat Bute, if not for Marlon B. Wrong, and think he is improving, and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the Margarito of this division sometime this year or next. I mean that in terms of his status in the division not in terms of possibly trying to put on plaster of paris. I agree with Taylor & Froch, but what all those names tell you is there's a lot more goin on at SMW, especially when you factor in fringe guys like Sakio Bika & Allan Green, as well as guys like Ward & Dirrell coming up through the ranks.
