And Barrera was not being dominated prior to the cut anyway. He started as most people would have expected, he was cautious and finding his range. Most of Khans blows were landing on the guard or else Barrera was slipping them.

After the head clash it changed completely, and the clash was the cause of it. Khan would have had a MUCH rougher ride without that break. Bring on a rematch I say, because I'm just not sold at all.

Damn it Miles, stop being such a damn fanboy and making excuses. Clearly that defence was because Barrera was hanging on for dear life because of Khans blistering speed. That or he was about to pass out from blood loss...not sure which?

To be fair, my only argument is the cut. I have never said that Barrera is old, shot and washed up. I don't believe any of that.

It all rests with what happened in that first round and the clash of heads. It cocked up everything, and not just for Barrera. It also meant Khan's "win" was marred too. Spoiled a fight that we all thought would be exciting, either as a Khan or Barrera fan. I can't see how anyone is satisfied by that. It's a let down for everyone, surely.

Is Khan sitting at home thinking "I kicked Barrera's arse!". I bloody well hope not! Because he didn't quite do that, did he now?

But, yeah, he got the "all important" win...
