Yes it would bad if you popped it,it'll only swell worse. I do not recomend this at all,but if you still want to go,have them wrap your tape as tight as they can to imobilize the thumb so you cant re-injure it during the fight. Also before the commish gets in to check your wraps,bath it in ambesol,it will pre-numb it up,its legal,but the commish is going to want a look at your thumb if they see you doing it.Because the only time you do it is if you know your guy is hurt.

Sounds like you just jarred it man, do it enough and you get used to it, otherwise just ice it and she shall go. I got one nearly every game when I played bball or aussie rules, now they just dont bother me. Good luck in your fight mate![]()
