I'll preface this by saying I don't like Margarito, never have, there was always something that pissed me off about him. But personally I remain unconvinced he always cheated. I think Capetillo may have worried that they overtrained a bit for the Mosley fight, and knowing of Mosley's stamina & chin, decided to try & sneak the wraps in. When I look at the fights with Cintron (where he cut his wraps off after the fight in the ring) and Cotto and look at the punches, I still see the kind of punches landing on the men that should cut them up. I also remain unconvinced how aware Margarito was of it, mainly due to what Nazeem Richardson and others present have said about his reaction to having to take them off. I definitely think Capetillo is guilty, and should never be allowed near a ring again, but I still haven't seen enough to be judge & jury on Margarito.
