Who is your favorite active fighter right now?

My favourite fighters of recent years are Toney, Calzaghe, Barrera and possibly I would add Hatton to that list. They are the fighters I've posted about the most in my time here. Of course, I like lots of other fighters but these four have the mix of personality and fight style where something just clicks for me. Toney and Calzaghe seem to be done. So Barrera and Hatton in terms of active fighters.

Now I fully understood why you're screaming NC! NC! NC! Stop the fight! Stop the fight! Stop the fight! ...

Too bad Hatton will face PAC next...

Not just because I'm a Barrera fan though, but because the fight was really, really badly officiated. It will leave a bitter taste for a long time that one.

Hatton only talks smack if the other guy starts it up, otherwise he is pretty respectful.

Look into the Hatton-Mayweather fight, Hatton starts it after the Castillo fight. Rent the DVD, that's made by Hatton's people and is basically a Ricky propaganda piece, and they even admit that Ricky kicked it all off. I like the guy, enough that I paid shitloads to go see him fight Pac, but there's too much of this Ricky is the salt of the earth & won't chat shit. He does it like the rest of em, if you saw UK coverage of his fights you'd see it. He has to find a reason though, he can't with Pac, because there's not much to go after and it will only make him the bad guy

Tough one.. Love Jeff Lacy, but he is officially done at the elite level. You know I'm a Pretty Boy fan all the way, but until he comes back I dont really have a single favorite.

he went trough a bit of a slump a few years ago but he is white hot not!
