Anyone have any suggestions as to what brand/type is best? I don't mind spending a bit of coin because I'm goddamn sick of using cheap ones.
Go for the iTrim Stubble by Babyliss mate - very good and allows you to digitally choose length of stubble
I've got one of those... I ended up just taking the guard off. Since when was 'stubble' 5mm long?!?!

Shit if mine is over like 2mm it doesn't feel like stubble... feels like beard hair. Your stubble should be able to light a match...

Get a Nicky Clarke hair trimmer, when I used to shave my head I used it for my matching stubble too. It comes with (from the top of my head) Zero without blades, 2mm 3mm 4mm 5mm 6mm 9mm 12 mm attachements.

Cost only 35 quid and its totally waterproof which means you can shave your pubes and your bollocks in the shower and it won't break.

Trim regular unless you wanna have to grab a clump of pubes out the plug-hole and try to lob them down the shitter from however far it is from the shower.

I got one similiar to this one

Series 7 - Dry Shaving - Electric Shavers, Foil Shaver & Razors - Braun

I swear by these razors man there a little bit pricey but they work the best. If you look on ebay or something I'm sure you could get one at a reasonable price.

I use the Bic's for shaving cheap and cheerful. Scissors for the pubes but that is a different subject.
