watched transporter 3 last night
i know i posted on here saying i wouldnt watch it but i did, so wanna apologise to who ever it was who recommended cos it was awsome!!!![]()
I rented Role Models last night. I have heard nothing but good things about this movie. I"m going to give it watch tonight.
Watched 'Taken' with Liam Neeson - fantastic film!!
Starfuckers 11.
Not seen the original but it must be a helluva flick to have spawned 10 sequels
Transporter 3, Mirrors, and Quarantine in a row.
AN Australian western called "The Proposition" with great scenery and blood lust with non stop action. It was a slow boring night so I also watched "Batman Begins" and the sequel, "The Dark Knight." It was a bit much but sometimes there's nothing I rather do than veg out when there is no sports to watch and sometimes your friends may be doing something you're just not interested in doing so a movie day every once in a while isn't bad for the soul.
Watched 'Bobby' last night (the film 'about' Bobby Kennedy).
Was a bit disappointed in that it didn't really focus enough on Kennedy himself, and had way too many different plotlines goin on (although it sort of drew em together in the end). Also some of the scenes were painfully cheesy.
To its credit, the last 15 minutes or so were fantastic, but from a film of over a 100 mins thats not really what you want.
Its hard to say whether this film is really good or bad, the most accurate is that its mixed.
There's some very good performances from Harry Belafonte, Larry Fishburne, Christian Slater & the guys playing the Latino kitchen staff (sorry can't remember their names).
However, any film that decides its ok to cast Lindsay Lohan, Ashton Kutcher, Shia LaBeouf & Nick fuckin Cannon in a serious film is always gonna struggle. Also there are too many Hollywood stars (Demi Moore, Sharon Stone, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Hunt) who you get the sense chose to be in it so they display some kind of liberal credentials.
However, the brief moments that illustrate what Bobby Kennedy was like as a polititian alone make it worthwhile, if only to get a look at one of the truly inspiring political figures of that time. The film suffers from not focusing on him more.
Role Models was fantastic. One of the best comedies I have seen in awhile. That little black kid is hilarious. I agree Mick he's is gonna be a huge star.
Watched Warrior King, Tony Jaa. Fast forwarded through the non fighting bits obviously
Amazing fight sequences.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
I just had knee surgery yesterday I had a torn meniscus so I rented a few movies because I knew I would be laid up for a few days. I got Quarantine, Milk, and the newest Punisher movie I haven't watched any of them yet but I'm about to pop in Quarantine in a few minutes.
So yesterday all I did was watch movies because once again I'm laid up from my surgery. Quarantine was pretty good I thought they could of done more with it but not to bad. The Punisher movie was kinda stupid in my opinion I thought the previous one was better. Milk was a really good flick, I'm not really into gay movies like brokeback mountain but this one was decent. Sean Pean is a great actor.
