Wladimir Klitschko....Vitali Klitschko is ok I guess but I like Wlad because although he is not the perfect fighter he has worked so hard on his game that he has covered up any flaws he may have. Meanwhile, Vitali is just a damn beast

I like polarizing fighters like Mayweather, Tyson etc. Currently I think Vic, BHop and either Klitschko (sp?) fit the bill.

Hard to pick just one but I would say Ricky Hatton, not as exiting as he used to be but I've watched him and supported him for eight years so I still get a huge buzz watching him come out to a Pro Hatton crowd ready to take care of business.
Close second is easily Cotto, I love his style and I love fighters who know the importance of body punching and use it to such great effect.

Hard one for me to call... I'd like to say Rafael Marquez but he has been inactive for over a year.
Roman Gonzalez is closing in but I want to see him in with another top guy 1st. As is Juan Manuel Lopez.
Darchinyan is as close to 1st equal as you can get at the moment, his willingness to take on top competition is & major challenges is impressive!
Ivan Calderon is the other 1st equal, I love watching him box! He doesn't just run, he stands in the other guys punching range making them, miss then makes them pay! He is amazing to watch at his best!!!
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be

Cotto hands down active fighter. Never fails to provide a great fight
For me it's a coin toss between Cotto and Mosley. First they fought each other and Cotto won. Then Cotto lost to Margarito. Margarito lost to Mosley. Talk about a triangle but I felt that if Cotto was a victim of the plaster wrap and in his next fight he does well, things are going to really heat up if Pacman wins over Hatton but Hatton wins fasten your seat belts.

First post here. My fav active fighters are Chris John and Daud Yordan.

Ricky Hatton purely because I've watched him for the last 8 or so years - wouldn't miss a fight.
I'll go along with Hopkins being overrated - purely because people rate him as an ATG, see below my response to the 'where do you rank these fighters in the ATG' thread.
I def wouldn't have Hopkins as high as all you guys, my reasoning below.
His biggest fights;
Loss to RJJ
Beats Trinidad (smaller guy moving up)
Beats ODLH (as above)
Loss to Taylor x 2 (could've one both)
Beats Tarver (demolishes bigger guy)
Beats Wright
Loss to Calzaghe (close)
Beats Pavlik (smaller guy - new kid on the block)
For me this isn't a top 20 career, his best wins were against smaller guys, picking on the names moving up. His reign at Middle contained an awful lot of average guys - his or his era's fault?
Tarver is never an opponent to have to point to when securing your legacy.
Hopkins title run gets praised as much as Calzaghe's gets hammered - both are equally shoddy in my eyes.
Neither he nor Calzaghe would be anywhere near that high for me.
And the fact that he's old and still doing it is a reflection on his competition not how great he is in my eyes.

Man anytime someone asks me this i try and narrow it down and just pick one but with so many different fighters in different classes with different styles, personalities, places of orgin and at different levels of thier careers there's just no way for me to pick one guy. I like some more than others but usually not to the point where i'd root for one guy over another. I'm usually happy with the result of most fights reguardless of who wins i just like a good contest. Not necessarily a K.O. i'm down for a good 12 rounder ending up in a draw as well. I couldn't even really pick a favorite top 10 come to think about it.
