    Foreman was great

Joe Louis, Marciano were great P4P

Vitali Klitschko has a record that speaks to his punching strength only 1 win coming by decision.....I don't care who you're fighting that's damned impressive!

Mike Tyson was pretty good but I would rank him ahead of Joe Frazier but behind Lennox Lewis

We will have to take Ali's word on his Shavers assessment of power, to me Foreman's shocking destrcution of Smokin' Joe in the first fight is the most awesome display of punching power i have ever seen. Bare in mind Frazier was an undefeated Heavyweight Champion at the time, he was no Trevor Berbick.
    It's Foreman for me.

Yes Foreman's punishment of Frazier was amazing but I think what is more amazing is that at age 45 he was still able to KO the heavyweight champion of the world. George Foreman's power carried from his debut in 1969 all the way to....hell I wouldn't want to take a punch from George today!!! What he did to Gerry Cooney scared Mike Tyson away from any match vs Big George.

Mike Tyson's power was flashier than George's just because of his style and the fact that he threw combinations but there is no doubt that Foreman was the harder puncher.

Gotta agree, Tyson's power was just not on the same level as Foreman's. This is why I always find it funny when people say Tyson would have KO'd Ali. For me if you can stand up to power of Shavers and Foreman, you could take Tyson's punches. Tyson had great combinations though, and great power for his build. But in all honesty, I think Tyson might struggle against the Klitschkos, although I think he could just do it, so I can't see him beating prime versions of the best of the HW division

That left uppercut had a boat load of power. If that landed flush it may have taken his swede clean off!!

How awesome is the uppercut for the second knockdown (and knockout) just strolls up and BANG! class.

Have to say Foreman, haven't seen many blokes lifted off their feet by a shot but Big George did it. Tyson was explosive and many were just caught in the headlights of fear.
Sonny Liston was also supposed to have hit hard in his day, reportedly went through several heavy bags a week when preparing for a fight.

Clubber Lang hit hard too tho'
