Ask Montell Griffin how hard Roy's slap of a left hook is

Roy has always whacked with his wrist, he does not slap.

Roy does slaps. But he usually follows them up with power combos.

He sometimes throws a quick left hook without a ton of mustard on it, but it will set up other shots.. it's almost like a feint.. To have a thread "Old Roy "The Slapper"" is a joke though.. Guy has power in both hands; that is no secret.

I think that the general problem is just that he plays a more careful overall game, hence why he might look slappy sometimes but I wouldn't say his left hook is a slapper, I think it's all about the overall more careful style.

Roy lands his left hook beautifully, the only think is now I don't think he follows through as much as he used to on any of his punches, it seems like he doesn't try to punch through the target anymore, and just tries to hit the target.

Slapper? IMO the hardest hitting Middleweight of all time as well as the fastest. His punches are not what they were by a long shot anymore though.

    Slapper ,

Hows that final ko , if you listen it comes off something before it lands maybe catches his glove on the way up or his breast before it hits the chin.It goes "ba bang".

Its a leaping shot its loaded from his hip and his legs as he is crouched waiting for the time when griffith comes on his front foot so theres no escape, after it lands Roy is fully upright and controlling him.
