    "He's no Calzaghe"

    Damn right he aint.

For starters, he's flying off to defend a legit title against the 2nd most dangerous man in the division.

Took Joe over a decade and two pull-outs, to get it on with our Jeffry.

I see him as the kind of man that will absolutely go to war before he gets beaten, big, powerful and aggressive with a medium sized dollop of speed to go with it. For me, a true test at 168 isn't Taylor, its Kessler now Calzaghe has gone. I also think that Calzaghe would have ran rings around him to a UD.

Please no need for the formaility kind sir ! Please , call me Big dick .

Yeah sorry when i said the ''the lot'' I meant in terms of appeal !
Hmmm by some of the comments on this here forum it seems Carl Froch is something of a marmite fighter!
I'd say he's a level fighter lets his heart rule his head but has so much confidence you cant help like the fella .
I aggree Kessler would tell us more about the Cobra but I think Carl is at that stage where the jury is still out ,the same stage Kessler was at before Mundine and Pavlik before Mirinda even though he has served a lengthy immpressive apprenticeship apart from Pascal who is also not proven world class he has it too do .

I think he will wipe the floor with Taylor and then set the house of the Supermiddles on Fire .
I'm backing my man all the way 100%
Big Dickhead - You say Froch will wipe the floor with Taylor but you think Kessler would give him a tougher fight? Based upon what?

Taylor has fought a much better level of opposition (more experienced) than Kessler and to me is a more skilled fighter and has comparable power. Remember Tayor beat Hopkins TWICE. Who has Kessler beat? Taylor is just as tall as Kessler and has a longer reach than Mikk. I think Taylor beats Froch and Kessler.

And before everyone starts saying they think Hopkins won whatever either way he gave Hopkins all he could handle.......I think the reason he beat Hopkins is based on his power...Hopkins felt it and chose to play keep away...

I think Taylor is a sleeper at 68 and is going to beat them all......One thing for sure is if Taylor beats Froch he will gun for Kessler cause Jermaine dont dodge anyone....

Either way, some great fights coming up at SMW...

He's a fraud who will lose his next fight. His career will mirror Robert McCracken career.

Only now would he have the right to be calling out JC as he can bring something to the table. But it's all a bit late now so he needs to do what he's doing and put up or shut up against the active fighters. Glad he is chasing the names and willing to go to their backyard though.
Does have a good chin but that can only last so long with your arm hanging down by your knees. Also seems to have been around for a long time and only now achieiving things.

overall I have a Public Enemy opinion of Froch "Don't believe the hype"

Question: Froch loses against Taylor, hangs gloves up....

Would boxing be a more boring place without him?

Joe has retired, Ricky has not long left and Haye will prob get knocked out... we'd have nobody.

I don't know enough about the guy to have an opinion but if he looses i guess it won't really matter cause if calzaghe couldn't get love over here he'll be at the superstar status of gary lockett probaby for the rest of his career. I wish him well though nothing wrong with another good fighter jumping the pond..they haven't really dissappointed me yet.

    Woods apart

The guy is very limited in talent and stunk the place out when he fought tarver. Expected him to get beat but to not fight back was almost embarrasing to watch at times!!

Reid took a bit of a hammering towards the end of his career when he went over to fight lacy

And of course Michael Jennings got a hiding off of Cotto but he was an also ran before he even boarded the airplane.
