are you referring to the last one? too much weight on the front foot perhaps? Any examples of youre preffered stance?

I prefer straight line,but thats because you present less of an available target that way,and you can hit with equal if not greater power if you have good hip snap

classy boxer reminds me a bit of sugar ray leonard,I am not that comfortable in a straight line stance as i find it dificult to throw a right cross,I find i need a bit of lateral stabilaty.Dosent floyd mayweather use straight line stance a lot when hes doing his shoulder rolls for defence? By straight line does it mean straight line from front toe to back heel or is it narrower than that?

Front and Back foot in line with front Shoulder, Biomechanicaly it restricts Psosas and groin not an ideal way of doing things, Floyd uses a technique where the shoulders move the feet. Not a bad way of doing things.
