    Default Chavez Jr. v. Duddy

It would be Chavez Jr.'s first big test and the fight would probably sell a lot of tickets in New York or Los Angeles.

Upon first glance, and taking into account their common opponent, Matt Vanda, I like Duddy to win.

If its 12 rounds Duddy knocks him out, a 10 rounder Chavez might just about hold on to the final bell, either way Chavez is losing.

As for it being Chavez's first big test, it is supposed to be, but he's found most of the journeyman and club fighters he's fought so far to be big tests.

He barely won at the weekend against some unknown who looked like he should be fighting about 3 weight classes below him.

If he steps up and fights a real junior middleweight he's getting battered. Kirkland would smoke him inside 3 rounds

Duddy will put a horrible beating on Chavez. I hope this happens.

As Duddy gets more savvy about defense, his offensive arsaenal seems to suffer. He no longer seems to have that one-punch pop he used to have. I see Jr. testing him with hard left hooks to the liver. If Duddy can withstand them, he might win. But my money is on Junior because he is what he is, while Duddy has become something else from what he used to be. And if anyone can figure out what I just said, God bless him.

I think.. I know.. I want to be blessed by God.
I agree. Come-forward fighters who are taught too much defense (old dog new tricks) can give up some rounds trying to apply tactics they are not accustom..
