That's the only nick I see on Hozumi that at times, he depends a bit too much on the left hand.
vs. Simpiwe he was able to land some solid right hands.
Other then that though he's got mad skills.
Can box and trade at any point.
Hozumi vs. Montiel would be great.

Hasegawa is a great little fighter! Speed, technique, fundermentals & a southpaw to boot!
I was impressed with the way he stopped Veerapol in the return, I feel his speed & timing put a bit of sting on his shots & although he ain't a big puncher its enough to keep his opponents weary.
The way he blew out what seemed to be a very solid Malinga was remarkable!

A shocking omission from the P4P list.
Unfortunately - for us - he doesn't NEED to leave Japan. They only recognise the WBC and WBA titles, so unification matches against the other champs don't mean much. Although he did say recently he would love to fight in America or Europe, but his priority is to be regarded as a great Japanese fighter.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.

I can tell you that in our rankings he came in at 21st, which is not bad when you consider the quality of fighters above him, although the fact Kelly Pavlik who didn't even make the top 10 got over 200pts more than him says a lot. That's part of the reason why I wanted Top 20s because it neutralizes 'fan votes' a bit more and gives some credit to guys like Hasegawa who don't get the recognition they deserve.
