It's silly because you can't determine the outcome of a 12 round fight by who wins the first round.

Have been milling this for a while.Pacquiao has amassed HUGE momentum and made massive strides in career as of late.Everything is peachy coming in off 17-18 very one sided and pressure free rounds over last 2 fights.Hatton will not come through this unscaved and Mannys Left may do an early number on Hattons mug.But I think Hatton can take it and keep it very physical inside.Pacquiao has developed some nice movement in setting up offense but can be touched when backed.This is actually a very nice matchup that will be taxing on both,Hatton early and I do believe Pacquiao late.I think Hatton beats him!

Not only do I think Hatton has a good chance of beating Pacquiao... I also think he shouldn't get the credit he's gonna get for doing it. For the umpteenth time, Pacquiao is the smaller man at his natural weight. That he jumped up several weight divisions and humiliated De La Hoya (to my eternal gratification and delight), is besides the point. Oscar was a shell of his former self. Did Pacquiao's people know that BEFORE the fight? No... but that's besides the point also. What matters is that Oscar WAS shot, for the world to see. Hatton, on the other hand, is what... 30? And still near the peak of his career. And while he's far from being the world's best fighter, he's still king at 140. Why Pacquiao is so heavily favored is beyond me. But hey, I'll be rooting for Pac anyway.

Agree, the fact it has all gone well for Pacman recently will be a telling factor if Hatton starts to get through, yes everyone says Hatton will eat the left, of course he will to a certain extent and as for getting marked up sure he will , he probably brusies drying his face with a towel!!
But the question for all the huggers is can you honestly state the Pacman works we on the back foot. He moves back bobs around and throws nothing until there's a break in the attack against him, with Hatton that break may be a while in coming.I've also noticed a few of Pacs fights where he doesn't listen real well to instructions from the corner.
Won't be surprised if it goes either way but I really think it will be Hatton's night and will be interesting if so to see how Pacman bounces back from a defeat at this stage in his career.

If Hatton fails to stop Pac's flurry in first round, that means there aint gonna be plan B for him. HATTON ONLY FIGHTS ONE WAY.
