I think Hatton will win against Pacman but I don't think he'd beat Cotto .
Cotto at 140 was not the fighter he is at 147 , at 140 Cotto was easily shaken by solid punchers and Hatton would definately have won handsomely in my opinion but at 147 Cotto is refreshed and stronger .

At a catchweight of 143, it would be fairly even as Cotto doesn't make 147 with ease. Also as this would be assuming Hatton beat Pac, he would be the man who could call the shots. I'd still favour Cotto to win just, but at catchweight it would be more even.

No doubt though Hatton would go after a rematch with Mayweather, where he would be outboxed and out thought for another defeat. At least he might make it to the end this time

No, Cotto can't make 140. He was looking like a zombie at the weigh in in his last fights at 140 and that was a long while back now. I cannot see it.

Cotto @ 140 was an accident waiting to happen and it's a shame Ricky didn't get the chance to make it come true, Miguel @ 147 is a different beast and I would like to wait and see if Rick's new training and more work with Mayweather senior come the Manny fight, shows us new improvements which would suggest he may be able to tackle Cotto at the higher weight class.

I don't see Ricky winning this fight.. Didn't we basically see the same fight with Margarito/Cotto? Except Ricky isn't as big, has smaller arms and less power?

Definitely quicker feet, but c'mon, we saw how many times Cotto landed at WILL on Margarito. I don't see Ricky withstanding that type of beating over 8-9 rounds.
