For what its worth i voted for noel gallagher just for the fact he spoke his mind about jay-z playing glastonbury when everybody else was scared to do so!!
What you mean when he admitted afterwards that Jay-Z was actually really good and he was wrong

    nope

the fact he was pointing out the obvious point that glastonbury was a rock festival and by having a hip-hop star headline the festival had indeed sold out!
Or maybe he was just pissed off that his fans were now becoming consigned to the late 20s/approaching middle-aged bracket, and younger people have no interest in them by and large. I don't mind Noel Gallagher, but that was b1tch comment. Glastonbury has to learn to adapt or it will die. Although I understand you wish these 'hip-hop people' would just know their place & stick to selling out the O2

Even if my voice made a difference in his political world, I wouldn't vote for Pacquiao. That is because I would much rather see him in the ring, rather than talking about some peoples plight. I would be willing to bet most others feel the same.

Simply put Politics is about getting what you want. The more positive attention a politician has the more people power he has. In a word "influence".

Pacquiao would do far more for "his people" (meaning the people he wants to represent politically) using his current stature as a mega boxer than to drop out of the boxing spot light into politics. As a political figure that influence meter will drop closer to "0" than rise toward "100". As a "Boxing Legend" he has the attention of the world. As a Politician he will be ridiculed for being uneducated. No Politician can compete with him using the ring. Politicians will just trample him outside the ring. Sorry dude! no vote here....
