There is only one person to blame for this debacle and that is Castillo. Corrales should be compensated and Castillo should be heavily fined and suspended.
Let me start by saying I 100% agree with you, that this mess was entirely down to Castillo and his team. But I do not think he should be suspended, if there is punishment in the contract Castillo signed for the fight, then that is enough, IMO.

But I disagree that 4/5lbs is a massive amount. Castillo would of struggled to make 139lbs, and with the 24 hour gap between the weigh in, there would of been no real advantage in that department for Castillo if the fight had gone ahead, IMO.

And although I would not of expected Corrales to of got in the ring after what happened, I would like to of thought professional pride may of motivated him to step into the ring for a fight (figuratively) he could not lose...
