I just have never been able to get over those last few rounds in with Tito.Man looked spectacular but closed shop before the final bell, took it all for granted.Might be unfair but I think he earned that loss.Had Mosley taking it in 1st and 2nd.Thought Lampleys call of the 2nd was one of the most biased I have heard. It was sickning. He was boxing well but Mosley was moving him, having much more effect I believe.Favorite was his scrap with Quartey. He went all out. What a fight that was.

nah, maybe he deserved the loss against Tito, but he earned the win.

I cant imagine any other mexican fighter that fought Oscar competion would of lost most to almost all of them i while go as far to say. That Barrea, Morles, and Chavaz fought pound for pound against Mosley, Mayweather, and Bernard they would lose in a way worse fashion. Even with his loses Oscar still has beaten more top guys then any mexican and has captured more titles in different weight classes as well you look at all the mexicans records and even with his loses Oscar still has the best one.

I had him 1-1-1 in that trio. Draw with Tito,Loss to Mosley and had him by a hair over Ike.He caught alot of names at the exact right time...and weight.Shite....I thought Genaro Hernandez would beat him...whoops

To my mind Julio Cesar Chavez is the finest Mexican fighter ever, but it is close; how close? The kid from Culiacan gets the nod by about two seconds.

    My top 10:

    10 Erik Morales
    9 Vicente Saldivar
    8 Lupe Pintor
    7 Salvador Sanchez
    6 Marco Antonio Barrera
5 Jose Napoles (Adopted Mexico as his own country; Cuban by birth)
    4 Ricardo Lopez
    3 Ruben Olivares
    2 Carlos Zarate
    1 Julio Cesar Chavez

Mentions to: Humberto Gonzales, Miguel Canto, Rodolfo Martinez, Alfonso Zamora, Daniel Zaragoza, Joe Rivers, Baby Arizmendi, Chalky Wright, Manuel Medina, Rafael Limon, Jose Luis Ramirez and Jose Luis Castillo.
